The Old Tree

A giant tree looms over the grasslands, the only one of its kind in the vast area. The tree is thick and huge with age, and lion lore tells that it existed before the beginning of time. Lions come here to worship the tree, believing that the tree is the source of all life. The lions have carved art into the tree's hard bark with their long claws to express their feelings for it. All lions love the tree and protect it from any harm. On lazy days, lions sometimes lay in the shade of its thick branches.
