Appearance:
Camari is a large cat, with sleek short black fur that almost seems plastered to her skin by some invisible force until touched by water. Then her fur is practically all over the place no matter how short haired she is. Through her fur, the fine lines of her muscles show, rippling beneath her skin, showing off her power to everyone around her. Her great strength, that she shouldn't be taken lightly as most of them do. Her weapons of mass destruction, even though they do only dig themselves in prey and earth, they are as sharp as ever so white and pale against her dark fur, against the earth around her, I bet you could even spot them from a mile away. Of course this is an exaggeration since she wont even bare her teeth or sheathe her claws until you come within a yard of her.
Camari may seem small from a distance but upon closer inspection she is a terrifying and powerful cat. Large muscles rippling beneath her fur showing off how much strength she holds combined with a sort of eloquence and grace. Light on her paws, quick in her steps, her only problem being her tail is half gone. This seemingly small matter has practically robbed her of her balance. She may have great agility but it means nothing if you can't center yourself on a tree's roots and branches.
Her eyes are a bright yellow almost white color. Against her dark fur it seems like their is lightning, lightning striking from the storm around it all stored into her eyes like that of a gem or in her case a pearl. A black nose and mouth accompanies her bright eyes on her head but which can only be recognizable through the dark traces they leave upon her face. Her ears sit upon her head high a strong never flattening against her head like what a dog would do in their scared pathetic lives. Her ears stand strong flinching occasionally to scare away the flies and mosquitoes. Her ears catch every sound from the rustling of the bushes and leaves to the occasional clattering of stones.
Personality:
Camari is the quiet one around the camp, enjoying the times she spends to herself. Only ever really indulging in conversations when it is interesting, has some relation to her or when someone annoys her to the point of insanity just so she would say something. But trust me, annoying her should maybe be the last thing to do to her on your mind. She holds grudges for a long time and is quite anti social as well as stubborn. Forcing her to do something isn't exactly the most wise choice to do. She might even give you a (small) wound to remember her by when you get out of range from the gruop and interupt her hunting THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO TO HER! She absolutly loves to hunt. The thrill and the effort it takes to take home many prizes and satisfy the group. It just makes her life more exciting since fights rarely seem to start out in the group. So if you happen to interupt her while she is getting into the excitement you will be on her bad side forever I garuntee.
Camari doesn't only love the thrill of hunting, in fact the only reason she loves it so much is because it puts her strength and weapons into use since she doesn't exactly like the idea of just placing them on display so random males can go try to swoon her. No. She wants to feel useful and to dig her claws into something alive and moving. To put it simply, it reminds her of a fight, a fight against survival, a fight against prey, a fight for the best spot in the group. A contest. Where she can go home with the prize in her mouth and do some bragging on her large prey. Plus it passes time in the small area. Not used to talking to many people being her anti-social self she needs something to pass time that doesn't exactly include another being to be with her. Hunting happens to be the best way.
Camari doesn't only have likes but dislikes too. For example: she dislikes the water. She is a great swimmer don't get me wrong and it is great to jump into a river or lake to get cool during the summer but overall she hates it. It makes her look like a scrungy animal rather than a beautiful powerful beast. Plus her fur is very absorbant even though it is short. Last reason is she has had a very bad experience in a river when she was young, still a cub even. Coming back brings about vivid memories of that time and they aren't exactly pretty memories of unicorns and rainbows either.
History:
Camari was born to Nerta and Hafv, both which she thought of as very beautiful panthers when she was still a cub. Unlike many in the group she was the only one in her mothers liter with no siblings to fight with or even talk to. Before long she became quite anti-social depending more on her parents for conversations rather than other cubs. In fact she made a really close bond with her parents but one day she stumbled way too far from the den. Her mind was set on an adventure, and when she saw the rapid flowing movements of the river for some reason it reminded her of her mother.
Her mother was strong and when Camari placed her paw in the streaming water, as far as she could tell so was it. Her mother also was quick and fast with fluid movements and just by watching the water wash over the rocks of the river bed rapidly descending to further down river, it looked fast too. Camari was slightly tranced by its ways and actually wanted to cross it using the large bed rocks but she accidently trupped over her large paws and into the water, the cold freezing water. She was still young and had no idea how to swim or anything. In fact she wasn't even able to swim to the surface until a few minutes passed.
Someone by chance saw her gasping in the strong currents trying to take as many breaths and gulps of air as possible before surging beneath the water again. The other leopard jumped in grabbing her by her tail but upon grabbing it tto hard it broke. She yowled in pain but was brought to the shore besides her feeble attempts to get out of the strangers grip. When she was inspected by her mother, her tail was so broken it even fell off so that she only had half left.
Eversince that one day in her life she has been traumatised from waters but her will to be strong forced her to go near it at some points in her life to attempt to climb over her fear. So far she hasn't accomplished that but one day she hopes she will. A few months after the incident she was fully matured and left her parents, mother mostly, to have another liter. One year later she found out that two panthers were killed by their only son. When she found the two bodys she instantly recognised them as her own parents and has sought revenge on her brother since.
RP Example:
The small cub hopped through the bushes, her black fur perfectly hiding her in the shadows of the great tall trees. Her pearly white eyes glanced at her surrundings trying to find where it went, where her prey went. There! Her eyes quickly spotted the small slimy fiend and she pounced, claws sheathed, teeth bare. Hop. Her claws sunk into the cold dry earth instead of into the flesh of the frog just a tail length away. The cub glared at the amphibian, taking his hop as a challenge. "I will catch you, you little rat." A smile played on her face pouncing again only to have her claws sink into the earth once more.
She glance over at the frog pouting, her big eyes almost begging it to let her cstch it. The frog seemed to have have given her a suspicious look before hopping into the river in front of it. The cub growled in frustration running up to the river bank hoping the frog would still be seen from beneath the clear blanket of water but instead she became entranced. The river, she never saw it up close like this, her mother always fretting she would fall in but it was magnifecent. She placed her paw in feeling it strength almost drag her in if she hadn't pulled her paw back to dry land. But the strength, it reminded her of her mother, it had a sort of grace to it and speed that matched her mothers plus its strength was not to be expected.
The cub spotted large rocks making a bridge across the river, very smooth and round from the strong waves of the river. Her curiosity got the better of her and she climbed over them. The water lapped at her paws erasing her feel of security on the rocks as it made her slip underneath the strong waves. She was frantic, her paws lashing out trying to grab as much water as she could, trying to bring herself back to the surface. After a few minutes her head popped out of the grueling waters, gasping for breath coughing the excess water that had flooded her mouth. "Help!" She choked out though it sounded only like a squeel not loud enough for anyone within a yard radius to hear her and she knew it. She was prepared to die in the river, the river which had entranced her only moments ago.
Going once again under the waves she waited for death to come and whisk her away. For darkness to swallow her whole. Eyes closed she felt a dark shape present herself to her, knowing it was their by feeling the water around her move because of the others swimming. Then she felt teeth sink into the fur on the back of her neck, bringing her to the surface again. The cub coughed and spewed all the water which had congested her chest, gasping wildly for breath as if she has never breathed it once in her life. Begining to breath normally again the leopard brought her to the earth where she began to tremble, not from the experience but her fur was soaked with the icy cold water dropping her temperature. The leopard quickly shared his body heat with the cold cub wrapping his tail around her. From that point on she didn't remember a thing having blacked out.
