Name: Alexius
Gender: Male
Species: Leopard
Age: 3 years.
Alliance: Leopard Group
Rank: Norm
Appearance:
Narrow, long biceps are connected to scanty shoulders. His bod is very slim and long, leading precariously to his haunches, broad and supremely powerful. Muscle seems to pulsate with every fiber of this brawn. These back legs enable him to jump tremendous distances and make it easier to catch birds in the air. They come complete with grey-black spikes for claws. He can climb trees easily with their jagged edges. His tail is lean and thin, not doing much for balance, but he hardly needs it, anyhow. His ears are rounded in shape and are completely average. Their not super powerful like some cat's and not flat-out horrible like other's. Their just normal. Not that that's a bad thing. No, the rest of his senses take care of him just fine, and he hasn't got a problem with that.
His eyes are a tawny green-brown. They're murky, as if a veil had been crudely cast over them. In some spots, clear green shines out. In others, cloudy brown can be seen. His eyes are abnormally acute, allowing him to see most anything around him and letting him view most creatures from afar before pouncing. His eyes are a bit odd, just in general, not the color. They don't seem to show any emotion. At all. Just a fogged muddy color that closes off all feeling. Fury, however, has been known to blaze there like a marsh fire. But, that's just anger... What happened to happiness? Sadness? Pride and grief?
His base color is of a dirty yellow, almost beige. Spots dapple it here and there with various shades of brown, black, and red. The spots don't seem to have any particular pattern. They just flow across his pelt like scattered droplets of water. Most of them, though, seem to cluster around his eyes and maw, making some places completely black or brown. They spiral around his eyes, making black little rings and settle on his maw, making the yellow barely visible. They also form in clots around his ears, forming little arrows on their backs.
Personality:
One would call him... the icy, sensitive guy on campus. He's a bit shy, doesn't like to talk much, and other cats seem to cluster around him for that reason. He doesn't notice, really. For the most part, he ignores them and focuses on his duties in Leopard Group. He's not what you'd call anti-social, he's just... well, he got it all figured out. One of those people that understand things and always wants to do the right thing. Naturally, his popularity has won him a few enemies. Not many tend to like the person who gets all the attantion. Some envy him for his 'delightful' charm and his 'sensitivity'. Others just flat-out hate him for the way he treats the way everyone slobbers over him. And then others positively adore him and his boyish cuteness.
Though he doesn't show it, he's a bit lost in the world. Not physically, of course, but a bit metally. He's not sure what to do with his reputation, nor does he really care. He seems like he knows what he's doing and that he's an expert at it. He's not. He just does his work the same way as everyone else. He's just... lucky. No screw-ups, no embarrasing incidents. That's what caused his adoration. He can't mess up at anything! Or so they think. Really, Alexius is dumb-founded by everyone acting so weird around him. Like he was something special. Really important. So, thinking it's nothing, he just disregards it and carries on.
History:
For the most part, his history is pretty bland. He was born to two black panthers, an uncommon pair. His sister was black, like his parents, and he was spotted with tan fur, not too strange. He grew up as any cub would, learning things, exploring, growing very shy... His parents left him and his dear sister when they were old enough to live on their own. They decided to stick together for safety's sake at the very least. They lived happily for a bit.
While the transformation from a nobody to a full-on celebrity took place on Alexius, his sister grew sick of being surrounded by other cats. She was a creature that didn't like company, except for her brother. She left him, and went on to explore the jungle. Alexius hardly noticed. He was always surrounded by cats, asking him questions, wanting to be his friend... From there, he knew that life wasn't for him. But he went along with it. What could you do in a situation as such?
Later, he searched for his sister, confused as to why she left and where she was. Needless to say, he found her, but he wished he hadn't. The sight of his sister's body, dead on jagged rocks had made him feel so lost and unwanted that not even his adoring fans served as company anymore. From the way the scene had looked, he deduced someone had been pursuing his sister. They had chased her up a tree and one wrong footing caused her to plummet to her death. He vowed to find that cat one day. And to kill him as brutally as his sister had died. No longer did it matter his popularity, if it had ever mattered in the first place. He had a quest to complete, and he had to complete it. From there, he didn't know what he would do, but, for now... this is it.
RP Example:
The winds of indifference soared through the air, whipping and lashing out at the undergrowth and living things. Icy apathy sang with every whisper of the oncoming zephyr. The creatures of the forest all hid in their holes and their homes to wait out the pounding storm that was nearly upon them. Water droplets fell from the sky, the little domes of liquid plopping to the ground flatly. Through all the wind and all the rain, a cry of horrible torture sounded, echoing in the enclosed forest. It was so sad, so depressing that it would make a tear come to one's eye. Deeper in the forest, a white form was bent over, head hung down. The rain stuck to her pelt, drenching her in the freezing water and making her shiver all over. Moans escaped her mouth and sorrow showed in her quirky gray eyes.
"Why?"
The question shook her frame in misery. She was... so, so lost. The clouds above peered down on her uncaringly, sending their drops spiraling down, beating on her body. There were small patches of sky where bright blue shown with pale pink and orange casting their lights downward, the only brightness on the dark, dark day. All the same, nothing could cheer her up now. She was in a state she had sworn to herself she'd never be. She'd seen death today. A cat had been found in the forest, bleeding from badger wounds. He had had a gaping hole in his chest, and was rushed to the camp. They couldn't just leave him. She had had to treat him.
"Am I going to die? Am I going to die?" His voice was full of anguish and he twisted and turned, crying out in pain. She didn't answer, her eyes concentrating on the wound. "Am I going to die?!" he yowled, and a nearby cat choked on a sob and had to leave. He peered after her and when Paddlesong did not answer, he screamed at the top of his lungs. "Shanon! Shanon! My love! Kirana! My daughter! I can't die! Woman, tell me! Tell me!" He lurched forward, and several warriors had to hold him down. By now, she was beginning to break down. She'd treated people like this before, but never had they been so fierce, so with the desire to live. "SHANON!" he screamed, looking at her desperately, and all she could say was, "You'll be fine. You'll be fine." He knew she was lying. He could see it in her eyes. She brought up some cobwebs, frantically trying to stop the bleeding. Suddenly, the cat's breath froze and he looked at her with scared eyes. His body began to tremor as he choked on his own blood. "No!" shouted Paddlesong, and she thrust the cobwebs into his chest harder, her determined cries turning into helpless sobs. "No!" she repeated, on the verge of breaking his chest bones. "You can't die! You can't die!" His body was still and glazed eyes looked forward one last time before becoming sightless and numb. Paddlesong screamed, still desperately trying to revive the dead cat. She began to yowl with all her might but to no avail. He was gone. Warriors gathered around her gently pulling her away. She scratched and bit, yelling, "Let me save him! Let me save him! For his Shanon, for his Kirana! Let me save him." she broke down, landing in a huddle, her body shaking. Her cries sounded throughout the camp, and a few cats tried to comfort her but she turned away from their efforts. And she ran into the forest, bawling.
"Why do you do this?! StarClan! Why? Why do you give and give then take so sharply? Why did you take him?!"
Her screams were louder then the thunder, her jeers hateful. They took so much. So much from her. Her mother, her father, her poor, poor brother. And, worst of all, her ability to love. She glared at the sky with a burning agony in her stomach.
"I hate you! I hate you so much! You're vile! You're evil! You're not our saviors! You're naught but our destroyers! You took him from his family! You horrible, horrible rubbish!"
She threw herself into a temper, stumbling about and scratching things, howling to the sky for the loss of the cat, for the sadness of his family, for death itself. She scored her claws down the side of a tree, curses and threats streaming from her mouth. Finally, when she had obliterated almost everything in sight, she fell to the ground, writhing about. Then, she stopped, laying quite still, trembling, her whole being almost vibrating. She whimpered, like an afraid kit, her eyes full of anguish.
"I-I h-hate you. I-I will avenge h-him. You'll see, StarClan. You horrible murderers. I hate you so, so much."
